Donate now to support the many programs offered by your local American Red Cross. All disaster services are free, from disaster relief efforts to our training programs and free safety presentations.
Donate Your Vehicle
If you are considering donating your vehicle, now is the time to do it and the American Red Cross of Yolo County is the place!
The American Red Cross vehicle donation program is a local program, which supports our free disaster services. All paperwork is handled locally and 100% of your donation is used locally.
By the new federal law effective January 1, 2005, you may use the amount the Red Cross receives for the vehicle. You will receive a receipt and copies of your paperwork for your tax deduction. Everything can be done through the mail, if you prefer, and the vehicle is picked up at no charge to you.
Your vehicle donation helps the American Red Cross of Yolo County provide disaster services when a family loses their home to fire or other disaster. We provide a place to stay, food, clothing and basic needs. With your help we can speed the recovery of those affected by a disaster.
Here are three easy steps:
1. Call the Red Cross, 530-662-4669, or email frdesk@yc-arc.org for information about the program 2. Select a time for your free vehicle pick up (no one has to be home when the car is picked up) 3. Receive a receipt for the full tax deductible amount for Federal and State tax returns.
Your vehicle does NOT need to run. We accept vehicles with smog problems. Vehicle pick up is free. Call today!
